Silver, gold rate declines on lack of fresh demand

Mumbai, July 8 (UNI) Values of silver and gold eased on lack of fresh demand in the opening session, traders in the bullion market here today said.

Following were the opening rates today: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 17,750, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,450, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,495.
