Pondy Govt asks Journalists to follow ethics

Pondicherry, July 8 (UNI) Pondicherry Education Minister M O H F Shajahan today called upon scribes to follow journalistic ethics.

Inaugurating a national seminar on Journalism and Mass Communications here, he said the media should highlight the in every event. Media has a significant role in the development of the country, he added.

Mr Shajahan said that media should not involve in business promotion activities, which demoralises the society.

He agreed with the remarks earlier made by Sahitya Academy award winner Prapanjan that because of the hero-worships, the present day youths are entering in politics.
