Police seize 9,000 litres of spirit

Thrissur, Kerala July 8 (UNI) The police seized 9,000 litres of rectified spirit valued about Rs ten lakh from a house in a harijan colony at Narayanamangalam, near Thiruvillamala, in the district today.

The sprit was found in 251 cans in the house owned by a woman identified as Radha. She was not in the house when the police carried out the search.

Nobody has been arrested in this connection.
