Paswan to leave for Japan on a seven-days tour

New Delhi, Jul 8: Union Chemicals, Fertilisers and Steel Minister Ram Vilas Paswan will leave tonight on a seven-days visit to Japan.

According to official sources, Mr Paswan's visit to Japan attains great importance as Japan was declared 'partner country' for the India investment fair beginning in November this year at Mumbai.

During his stay Mr Paswan will hold meetings with Japan's Industry Minister, Minister of Technology Information and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Mr Paswan will also hold separate meetings with the industry associations of chemicals, fertilisers and steel and the leading players in these fields.

Mr Paswan will also visit the Nippon and Mitsubshi's steel plants and other production facilities.
