Opposition calls for understanding on implementation of Act

Palakkad, Kerala July 8 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Kerala Assembly Oommen Chandy today urged the State Government and the managements of the self-financing professional colleges to come to an understanding on the implementation of the Act on self-financing institutions.

Talking to newspersons here he said the present uncertainty would affect the future of the students, seeking admission to professional courses.

Mr Chandy said the managements had every right to move the courts, but their threat to close down their institutions could not be justified.
