Jammu, July 8 (UNI) The indefinite strike of lawyers, demanding transfer of sex scandal case to Jammu from Srinagar, entered 11th day today.

The lawyers, who started indefinite strike on June 28 against denial of right of defence and threat issued to lawyers in Srinagar while representing their clients, were absent from court proceedings.

General secretary of Bar Association Jammu Abhinav Sharma told UNI that the association would hold a meeting on Tuesday or Wedensday and decide the further course of action.

Meanwhile, the agitation has badly affected the court proceedings and judicial work in the region.

The Kashmir Bar Association in Srinagar has imposed a ban on its members appearing in the court on behalf of those arrested or chargesheeted in connection with the scandal.
