Foreign liquor recovered in Siwan

Siwan, Jul 8 (UNI) Excise Department today recovered foreign liquor, spirit and manufacturing machines worth four lakhs during raids at Dibbi bazar under Daraunda police station area.

Excise Superintendent Vikas Kumar Sinha said here today that acting on a tip off, the department raided the house of Nagendra Singh and recovered 22 cartoons of foreign liquor worth 1.50 lacs, one thousand litres of spirit and other equipments.

Mr Singh said that newly elected Sarpanch is the leader of the illicit trade.
