Complaint filed against 3 in jawan's death due to explosion

Bhuj, July 8 (UNI) Bhuj Taluka Police have registered a complaint against three Army officials of the army cantonment here in connection with the death of a soldier.

Hawasingh Lalsingh died due to a live shell explosion in the mess compound on April 30 last year.

After completing the preliminary investigations, Police Sub-Inspector A B Bhimawat today filed a complaint against Major Diwan Singh Chauhan and two others on the charge of sending the deceased jawan near the shell despite knowing well that anybody coming in contact with the live shell could die, police said.
