China flood death toll rises to 25
SHANGHAI, July 8 (Reuters) The death toll from a flash flood in central China's Hunan Province rose to 25 today after the bodies of ten more victims were found, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
Fifteen bodies were found soon after torrents of water and mud caused by heavy rainfall hit Qingshan'ao village on June 25. Two people remain listed as missing.
In a separate natural disaster, 11 migrant workers were killed in a landslide at an iron ore mine in the northern province of Shanxi on Saturday, Xinhua said.
