Burglars decamp with gold ornaments

Thrissur, July 8 (UNI) A six member gang broke into a house at Guruvayur last night and decamped with gold ornaments of about ten sovereigns after attacking the house owner.

The intruders attacked Balakrishnan Nair, a retired employee of FACT, with lethal weapons and escaped with the ornaments when his daughter and her husband came to his rescue, police said.
