Srinagar, July, 8(UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Vigilance Organisation (SVO) has registered a case against Sher Mohd Khan, former Executive Engineer, Rural Engineering Wing, Doda, under anti corruption laws.

The case was registered against the engineer allegedly for having acquired assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

A spokesman of the VO said that after conducting an enquiry about the allegations of possessing disproportionate assets it was found that the suspect had indulged in corrupt practices.

His assets included a double storey building at Bathindi, Jammu, a four storey building at Gujjar Colony, Narwal Bye-Pass, Jammu, 10 marlas of land at Padshahi Bagh, Budgam in central Kashmir besides other movable assets.
