UltraTech's net revenue increases

Mumbai, July 7 (UNI) UltraTech Cement, an Aditya Birla group company, has reported net revenue at Rs 3,299 crore for the financial year 2005-06.

The profit before tax and provision for diminution in value of investments stood at Rs 286 crore. The figures for the year under review include those of Narmada Cement Company between the period October '05 and March' 06.

A release issued by the company today said its board of directors has recommended a dividend of 17.50 per cent, aggregating Rs 21.79 crore. The company will absorb corporate tax on dividend amounting to Rs 3.06 crore, thereby leading to a total payout of Rs 24.85 crore.
