Two incidents of chain snatching registered

Mumbai, July 7 (UNI) Two cases of chain snatching were registered during the jurisdiction of Borivali police station in western suburbs during last 12 hrs in the metropolis.

Police said a gold chain worth Rs 7000 of Ms Daksha Doshi (47) was snatched by one unidentified person near Blue Bird Nursery School at Borivali yesterday evening.

Another gold chain worth Rs 15,000 of one Ms Devyani Modil (55), a housewife, was snatched by some unidentified persons at Ruchi Appartment, Borivali yesterday.

Police has registered two cases of chain snatching and further investigations are in progress.
