Tiwari launches Sarvabhaum Rojgar Yozna

Dehradun, July 7 (UNI) Uttaranchal Chief Minister N D Tiwari, today, launched 'Sarvabahum Rojgar Yozna' (Universal Employment Scheme) of Rs. 32.50 crore by distributing loan of Rs. 67.73 lakh to 130 beneficiaries as a token of its implementaion.

Mr Tiwari said at his residence through video conferencing, the scheme would benefit as many as 40,000 unemployed adults. For the first year he said, a grant of Rs 7000 would be provided to the beneficiaries, thereafter Rs 5000 and Rs 3000 would be disbursed in second and third year respectively.

Chief Secretary M Ramachandran informed that a five- member committee headed by the District Magistrates has been set up in all the thirteen districts of the state to ensure effective implementation of the scheme.
