Tendulkar slams ton again, Agarkar hits 54 in Lashings debut

London, July 7 (UNI) Sachin Tendulkar's penchant for runs continues with the Little Master hitting his fourth ton for Lashings World XI which trounced Sutton Valence School 1st XI by 70 runs in a 35-overs-a-side match at Kent.

Batting first in the away match, the star-studded Lashings club amassed 254 for six in 35 overs and Tendulkar top-scored again with a crafty 105. The second highest score came from fellow Mumbaikar ajit Agarkar who made his debut for the star-studded side yesterday.

Agarkar's contribution was 54, while for the hosts, Michael Coles claimed three wickets conceding 65 runs, while Simon Higgins got two for 47.

In reply, the local favourites were skittled out for 184, with Ben Price hitting 51 and Martin Taplin scoring 27. For Lashings, England's former Ashes winning women team captain Clare Connor grabbed five wickets for 24, while Sophie Simmonds got three for 52.
