Ten passengers injured in train collision

New Delhi, July 7 (UNI) At least ten people were injured when the Samli-Delhi passenger train collided with a stationary jeep near Durgapuri in East Delhi today.

The passenger train was coming from Saharanpur.

A Northern Railway official said some of the train passengers were travelling on the footboard and came in contact with the jeep that was stationed close to the tracks.

The mishap occurred at 0908 hrs.

All the injured have been admitted to the Guru Teghbahadur Hospital.
