Start of play delayed by rain

LONDON, July 7 (Reuters) The scheduled start of play in the men's semi-finals at Wimbledon was delayed today following rain showers.

Play had been due to start at 1200 GMT but tournament referee Andrew Jarrett announced a delay until at least 1400 GMT following light rain in southwest London.

Men's champion Roger Federer is first on Centre Court against Sweden's Jonas Bjorkman, followed by Spanish second seed Rafael Nadal against Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis.

Brighter spells are forecast for later today.
