Silver, gold prices shoot up on bullish global advice

Mumbai, July 7 (UNI) Values of silver and gold shot up on bullish global advice in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said today.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 18,025 (17,650), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,450 (9,345), Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 9,500 (9,400).
