MindTree signs pact with LANSA

Chennai, Jul 7 (UNI) MindTree Consulting, a leading international IT and R&D services company, today announced that it had signed an exclusive partnership with LANSA, an Australia-based leading provider of application development and integration software.

Through this partnership, MindTree would be the sole Indian reseller and implementer of InsureIT, an Interactive Internet Transaction Processing Framework for Insurance Companies, a company release here said.

InsureIT was an e-Commerce and Quotation Management framework catering to the needs of the general and life insurance categories.

It provided insurance companies and brokers with a fast, efficient and easy way to build web-enabled insurance products.

This was also a key milestone for MindTree as it steps-up the company's focus on the Indian market, the release said.

Insure IT was a framework developed by MDC Information Systems, based in Dublin, Ireland .

MindTree had been building and adapting mission critical applications using the LANSA family of products and tools, including host-based System i systems, client/server, data warehousing and Internet applications, the release added.
