K'taka Governor, CM condole ex-Minister's death
Bangalore, July 7 (UNI) Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi and Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy condoled the death of former Minister and film producer S Ramesh here today.
In his condolence message here, Mr Chaturvedi said Mr Ramesh had devoted his life to social service and had been associated with the employee unions of many public sector undertakings right from the beginning. He had relentlessly worked for the improvement of living conditions of slum dwellers and started many welfare measures for the benefit of the downtrodden.
Mr Kumaraswamy, in his message, said Mr Ramesh was a versatile person, known for his organising capacity and working for the welfare of backward communities. In his death, he had lost a good friend, he added.
The Chief Minister paid a visit to the former Minister's residence and placed a wreath on the body.
