Kolkatans sweat it out in rain-less monsoon

Kolkata, July 7 (UNI) There has been no major changes in the weather of West Bengal since last few days despite occasional cloudy sky.

The city woke up to a bright sunny morning and an azure sky, with some patches of clouds as the day proceeded.

There was no respite for people as the humidity level rose drastically. It has remained constant at 90-95 per cent during the last few days.

Weatherman have however, predicted a heavy downpour within the next 24 hours.

According to the Met office the maximum temperature today was 34 degree Celsius and the minimum 27.8 degree Celsius which was higher by one degree.
