HLL launches hunt for India's youngest superstar

Mumbai, July 7 (UNI) FMCG major Hindustan Lever Limited (HLL) has kicked off the search for the country's youngest superstars with India's biggest talent hunt the 'Rin Advanced White Star' hunt, which is targeted at children.

A HLL release here yesterday said that the nation-wide competition, which is the first of its kind initiative, provides a national platform for children, aged 5-14 years, to showcase their potential in three categories viz singing, acting and dancing.

HLL Marketing Manager (Premium Fabric Wash) Priya Nair was quoted in the release, saying, ''Children are endowed with amazing talent. Rin Advanced White Star hunt provides them a platform to unearth this hidden talent and showcase it to the world outside.'' ''Your child could be tomorrow's Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan or Sonu Nigam. The feeling of joy and pride of seeing them perform is something that nothing else can replace. On this occasion, I invite all mothers to avail of this big opportunity for their children and help them realise their true potential to become India's next big star,'' she added.

The release said the winning contestents would get a scholarship of Rs five lakh each to help them pursue their dream to become an artiste or to pursue future education. The kids will be given an opportunity to participate for auditions at their schools and city levels. Top 50 kids from across the country would then compete against one another and they would be judged by a panel of judges, who will grade them on their performance.

To enter the competition, consumers can grab a Rin Advanced pack and fill up the entry form along with it. The completed registrationforms must be sent to 'Rin Advanced White Star Hunt', Post Bag No 20, Kalkaji Post Office, New Delhi 110020. The last date for entry is July 31, the release added.
