Eight-year-old boy killed

Mumbai, July 7 (UNI) A eight-year-old boy was killed in an accident when he was hit by a jeep while crossing the road at Jogeshwari in western suburbs yesterday.

Deceased Rajesh Ankush Jaikar (8) alongwith his friend came out from public toilet at Hanuman Mandir, Jogeshwari and were crossing the road when the accident occured. The Mahindra Bolero jeep which hit the boy was coming towards Mumbai. The boy suffered severe injuries and admitted to the hospital, police said adding that however doctor declared him dead before admission.

Police has registered case of rash driving against driver of the vehicle.
