Court orders appointments at primary schools through exchange
Kolkata, Jul 07 (UNI) Calcutta High court ruled today that all appointments at the primary schools must be made through the state employment exchange.
Justice Jayanto Biswas passed the order on a petition filed by a group of unemployed youths, who alleged that a number of people that were appointed were not enrolled.
Setting aside a former court ruling that primary schools could make appointments by advertising in newspapers, Justice Biswas held that it should be mandatory for all primary schools to fill up their vacancies through employment exchange as thousands of unemployed youths were registered there.
