Call rates traded at 5.75-5.85 pc; bonds flat
Mumbai, July 7 (UNI) Call rates today traded in the range of 5.75-5.85 per cent on account of strong liquidity flow in the market.
RBI in the call money market on June six transacted Rs 10,885.52 crore at an average of 5.81 per cent.
In the first liquidity adjustment RBI traded Rs 33,910 crore through 32 bids at a rate of 5.75 per cent.
RBI did not inject any money through the repo-auction.
Earlier, RBI had fixed the reference rate for the day at Rs 46.12/US Dollar compared to the previous rate of Rs 46.15/US Dollar.
Gilts traded weak today.
The eleven year bond (GS 8.07% 2017) traded at Rs 98.60, which gave a yield of 8.27 per cent.
