BCIC signs MoU with Henan Province
Bangalore, July 7 (UNI) The Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Henan Province of China to regularly exchange market information about the economic development of Karnataka and the Province to open up further possibilities for increased exchange of trade.
Mr Zhang Weining, Vice-General Director of the Reform and Development Committee of Henan Province, who was leading a 19-member delegation to the country, and BCIC President Venkat Kedlaya inked the MoU.
Mr Kedlaya said ''this MoU is based on the mutual desire to establish closer contacts between BCIC and Henan Province.'' Later, interacting with BCIC members, Henan Province Vice-Governor Zhang Da Wei said ''our aim is to enlarge foreign cooperation, promote information industry by the end of the 11th five-year for mutual benefit. We are serious in deepening our relationship with India as we have lots to offer in manufacturing, automobile and electronics industry.
