Bangalore, July 7 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded in meterological centre at 0830 hours today.

The rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall amounts (cm): Agumbe 7.

Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Siddapura 6; Linganamakki, Thirthahalli, Kammardi 5 each; Belthangadi, Bhatkal, Gerusoppa, Bhagamandala, Somwarpet Sringeri, Kalasa, Mudigere, Koppa 4 each; Bajpe, Bantwal, Mani, Dharmasthala, Subramanya, Kundapur, Shirali, Ankola 3 each; Sagar, Hosanagar, Balehonnur, Lakkavalli, Sakleshpura 3 each; Puttur, Udupi, Karkala, Honavar, Kumta, Joida, Khanapur, Madikeri, Yegati, Hassan 2 each.

Forecast valid until the Sunday morning : Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Farmers forecast : Moderate to heavy rain likely to occur at many places over all districts of Coastal Karnataka. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over Belgaum, Dharwad and Haveri districts of North Interior Karnataka and over ghat areas of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Gadag, Koppal, Bagalkote districts of North Interior Karnataka and Davanagere, Bellary districts of South Interior Karnataka Mainly dry weather may prevail remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: Decrease in rainfall is expected over the State.

Forecast for Bangalore city : Partly cloudy. Light rain likely over some areas.
