12 killed, 15 inured in road mishap

Dhaka July 7 (UNI) Twelve people, including three children, were killed and 15 others injured when two buses collided with each other on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in northeastern Bangladesh today.

Police said the microbus, carrying a bridal party, collided with another while trying to take a turn in a hilly area at about 1430 hrs in Habiganj district, killing 11 people on the spot while another at succumbed to inuries in the hospital.

Of the injured, four have been admitted to Habiganj Sadar Hospital in critical condition.
