Wife visits Madani in jail

Coimbatore, July 6 (UNI) Soofia Madani, wife of People's Democratic Founder-Leader and Coimbatore serial bomb blasts case accused Abdul Nasser Maudhani, today met her husband at the Central Prison here along with a team of Ayurvedic doctors treating him for various ailments.

Police sources said there was a non-bailable warrant pending against her in a case and her visit to the prison came as a surprise.

Arya Vaidhya Pharmacy sources said Ms Madani came to the hospital this morning with a request that she accompany the doctors to the prison to watch the treatment given to her husband.

Top police officials also permitted her to visit the jail along with the doctors.
