Water level of major reservoirs in Kerala increased
Thiruvananthapuram, July 6 (UNI) Water levels of the major reservoirs in Kerala have increased following heavy rain in the catchment areas.
According to figures released by the Central Water Commission for the week ending July 3, water level at Idamalayar increased from 445.18 ft to 460.17ft, at Kallada from 333.73 ft to 335.30 ft and at Idukki from 2,315.64 ft to 2,320.54 ft.
When compared with the water levels recorded during the same period last year, Idukki reservoir showed an increase of 13.07 ft, Kallada 10.82 ft and Idamalayar 21.26 ft.
