Thre lakh children deprived of school educationin MP
Ujjain, MP, July 6 (UNI) About three lakh children -- between five to 14 years of age -- in Madhya Pradesh are deprived of school education.
Minister of State for School Education Paras Chandra Jain said here yesterday that under the 'School Chalen Hum' campaign in July, the state government has appealed to guardians and people's representatives to get maximum number of admissions in school and send children deprived of education to schools.
He said 'Praveshotsav (admission ceremony)' will be organised in schools imparting primary education.
A 'shiksha sabha' will be organised in all schools by July 10, while block-level officers will visit their districts and divisions by July 15.
He added that the Municipal Corporations'Commissioners and the CEO of municipality must make efforts to get more children admitted.
