Textile trader shot dead in Jehanabad

Jehanabad, July 6 (UNI) A textile trader was shot dead by criminals in Jehanabad main market today.

Police said two motorcycle-borne criminals attacked Rambabu Churiwal's shop at 0930 hours and opened indiscriminate fire.

Churiwal was rushed to the Patna Medical College in a critical condition where he was declared brought dead.

The criminals had been demanding extortion from Churiwal but he refused to pay and was shot dead.

A hunt has been launched to nab the criminals, the police added.
