Shramjivi blast accused in judicial custody till July 20
Jaunpur, July 6 (UNI) The judicial custody of all the three accused in last year's Patna-New Delhi Shramjivi Express bomb blast case was today extended by 14 days till July 20.
The blast on July 28, 2005 had killed at least 14 people.
The accused -- Obaid-ur-Rehman, Hilal-ud-din and Nafikul -- were produced before the district and sessions judge R P Tripathi under tight security.
Meanwhile, the judge ordered the family members of the terrorists be informed of their arrest.
Charges against the three would also be fixed on July 20.
Hilal-ud-din and Nafikul were brought here from Cherallapalli Central Jail, Andhra Pradesh under a warrant in May.
Obaid-ur-Rehman -- a native of Bangladesh -- was brought from Murshidabad, West Bengal.
The bomb blast aboard Shramjivi Express near Singramau railway station in Jaunpur had claimed at least 14 lives, while about 90 people were wounded.
