Senior BJP leaders to write to Kalam over sacking of Venugopal

New Delhi, July 6 (UNI) Senior BJP leaders Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani and Jaswant Singh will write a joint letter to President A P J Abdul Kalam expressing their anguish over the ''arbitrary sacking'' of AIIMS Director Dr P Venugopal.

Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Jaswant Singh said they will be demanding action against Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for insulting a surgeon of the repute of Dr Venugopal and his dismissal without following the due procedures of the law.
