Rupee opens weak by eight paise at 46.16/18/USD

Mumbai, July 6 (UNI) Indian currency today opened eight paise down at Rs 46.16/18/US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 46.08/US Dollar, said a trader in the money market.

Currently, rupee is trading at Rs 46.16/17/US Dollar.

The Sensex also opened in the red, but soon recovered from the lower levels and is currently trading at 10,751 points.
