New English weekly tabloid launched in Bangalore

Bangalore, July 6 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy launched 'The Weekend Dairy', an English weekly tabloid here today.

The tabloid, owned and published by Ms S C Meenakshi, was edited by Mr N Naveen, both the wards of distinguished Kannada journalist D V Gundappa, fondly known as DVG.

Tabloid Coordinator M C Hemanth Gowda said on the occasion that the weekly focussed on touching the lives of the common man, who represented over 70 per cent of the society. It would also strive to strike a balance between journalistic idealism and journalistic realism.
