MP mulls setting up private university
Bhopal, July 6(UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government is seriously considering to set up a private university to provide quality higher education, Higher Education Minister Tukojirao Pawar said.
''Initial steps in this regard had already been started'', Mr Pawar said here yesterday at the 13th foundation day function of Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education.
''Special efforts were being made to improve the quality of technical and higher education with the participation of private sector. The government decided to start colleges of excellence in rural areas also'', he added.
