Live workshop on Gastrointestinal surgery at NIMS tomorrow

Hyderabad, Jul 6 (UNI) The Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) under the aegies of Department of Surgical Gastroenterology will conduct a second "Live Operative Workshop in Gastrointestinal Surgery" here tomorrow.

The workshop series was started in April this year with the idea of covering all gastrointenstinal organ serially. Each operation workshop would focus on one organ system. The first workshop on Oesophagus was held on April eight, NIMS, said in a release here today.

The workshop demonstrating live operations would focus on the new techniques, involving modern gadgets. The multilateral exchange of experiences would be helpful to all the students and practioners of gastrointestinal surgery, the release added.
