Karvan-e-Aman leaves with 40 passengers for Muzaffarabad
Sriangar, July 6 (UNI) The Karvan-e-Aman bus today left here for Muzaffarabad with 40 passengers on board under tight security arrangments, official sources said.
They said 40 passengers boarded the bus this morning for Aman Setu, the last border point on the Line of Control (LoC) on the Indian side.
The passengers will later cross the Kaman bridge by foot and board the bus from the other side for Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).
The passengers included 24 residents of Jammu and Kashmir who are visiting POK for the first time to meet their relatives separated in 1947.
They said sixteen were returnee passengers who had come from POK to meet relatives here.
