Kannada actress Prema enters into wedlock

Bangalore, July 6 (UNI) Popular Kannada actress Prema tied the nuptial knot with a software engineer, Jeevan, in the city, today.

The wedding, solemnised as per Coorg traditions, was attended by a galaxy of film stars from the Kannada tinselville.

Prema, who had acted in more than 60 films including the award winning 'Nammura Mandara Hoove', began her career with 'Savyasaachi'. She received accolades for her acting skills mainly in melodramatic roles and family-oriented subjects. She had bagged the best actress award for her role in 'Nammura Mandara Hoove'.

Her recent movies, 'Yajamana' and 'Aptamitra' in which she acted opposite veteran actor Vishnuvardhan, had become big hits. Her latest ventures 'Kshana Kshana' and 'Ekadanta' were ready for release.
