Jawan run over by train

Dehra Dun, July 6 (UNI) An Army jawan was killed as he was run over by a train in Motichoor, according to police sources.

Pramod Aswal(28) of 15th Garhwal Rifles had left for his unit at Chandigarh from his home town Raiwala on Tuesday but yesterday morning his body was recovered from railway line, sources said.

In another incident, Tika Devi (35), wife of Army jawan Shivkumar and mother of two, committed suicide by hanging herself in her house at Chandramani last evening.

According to relatives, she was suffering from depression, police said.
