Israel air raid in south Gaza, casualties-witnesses
GAZA, July 6 (Reuters) Israeli aircraft today carried out an attack in the southern Gaza Strip, causing casualties, witnesses said.
An army spokeswoman said an air strike targeted Palestinian militants who fired seven anti-tank missiles at Israeli forces around the town of Khan Younis.
Israel has launched an offensive in Gaza to free an abducted soldier and end cross-border rocket attacks.
