IBM launches packaged services in IT

Mumbai, July 6 (UNI) In what can be termed as a novel approach in the field of selling of services, IBM has come up with packaged services in the country.

The packaged services is targeted at the small and medium business in the country that prefer 'modular, easy to choose and easy to implement solutions', a company's release issued here today said.

According to Nipun Mehrotra, director (sales) - Global Technology Services, IBM, ''These services are pre-scoped, pre-priced and pre-quality assured and have been designed specifically to the mid-market''.

To be made available for clients across the country, the packaged services aim at providing specific solutions to IT problems that directly impact their business. Besides, it comes with an initial set of three offerings which include 'IBM e-mail security services', 'IBM security assessment service' and 'IBM site assessment services'.

The idea is to enable SMBs to address issues like security, compliance and business operations enhancement.
