GM rolls out Chevrolet SRV

Chennai, Jul 6 (UNI) General Motors India today rolled-out its premium sportsback 'Chevrolet SRV' targeting young professionals.

GM India Vice-President P Balendran said the SRV was a global product sold across Europe, North America, Canada and Asian markets and had been re-engineered for India based on extensive testing across the country to meet the specific needs of the customers.

He said the SRV's sport styling was courtesy of Italdesign, the famed studio at Turin, Italy.

''With its combination of modern Italian design, generous list of standard features and roomy interior, the stylish five-door SRV will appeal to young professionals,'' he remarked.

The premium sportsback was the second of three new Chevrolet products entering the market this year, following the successful launch of Chevrolet Aveo, Mr Balendran said.

The ex-showroom price of the car in New Delhi was 6.97 lakh, while in Chennai it was priced at Rs 7.19 lakh.
