Doctor held for attempting to molest RPF constable

Varanasi, Jul 6 (UNI) A doctor at the Railway Hospital has been arrested for allegedly trying to molest a trainee Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable at his hostel room.

Police today said Manoj Kumar, a resident doctor posted at the Divisional Railway Hospital in Lehertara, was attending to an RPF woman trainee constable last night at the hospital.

Later, a woman colleague of the RPF constable visited the patient. She was asked by Kumar to come with him to the nearby doctors hostel and take some medicines for the patient.

When the trainee constable reached his room at the hospital, the doctor tried to molest her. She raised an alarm and the accused was beaten up by other doctors at the hostel.

Later, police reached the spot and arrested Kumar.
