Design new schemes for tribals: Chouhan
Bhopal, July 6(UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today issued instructions for designing new programmes aimed at the advancement of tribal community, particularly the youth, in view of the changing scenario.
''Focusing on tribal youth, new programmes should be chalked out for the advancement of tribal community'', he said while reviewing the programmes of the Tribal Welfare department.
Expressing anguish over undue delay in construction of Adivasi Ashrams and school buildings, he said those responsible for undue delay should face action.
Mr Chouhan also issued directions for recruiting teachers against vacant posts, distribution of uniform and bicycles to students and timely completion of all construction works. ''By enlisting the support of NGOs, an atmosphere should be created to motivate tribals to take advantage of various welfare programmes'', he added.
