Aizawl,Jul 6(UNI) Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee today expressed disappointment over the selection procedure of the two information commmissioners in the state by the government.

Talking to newspersons, state congress spokesperson Ronald Talu accused the selection committee, comprising Chief Minister Zoramthanga and education minister R Lalthangliana, of pre-planned agenda.

They accused party president Lalthanhawla, who was also one of the committee members, of not opposing the decision.

Talu said the party members were taken aback by the unexpected decision of the selection committee.

Acting governor A R Kohli appointed Robert Hrangdawla, Madhya Pradesh cadre retired IAS officer and K Tlanthanga, an officer of the Indian Broadcasting (Prog) Service, as state information commissioners on July 3, 2006.
