Centre to aye MP's non-conventional energy proposals
Bhopal, July 6 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Non-Conventional Energy Resources Vilas Muttemwar today agreed in principle to sanction four crucial proposals by Madhya Pradesh.
During detailed discussions at Mantralaya, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan requested clearance for a Rs 1-crore Energy Park on 30 acres here, enhancing the target of biogas plant installation and setting up wind energy projects of 2 MW capacity each at Ratlam district's Matamkheda and Shajapur's Mahuria, an official release said.
The Centre would also assist in preparing a project report for a 1 MW biogas-based power plant proposed at Pariyat near Jabalpur, the release added.
