BJYM forms human chain against Congress policies in J
Jammu, July 6 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists today formed a human chain in the city to protest against the spurt in terrorist activities and killing of innocent people in the valley.
Activists belonging to the youth wing of BJP and drawn from Doda, Kathua and Udhampur assembled in large numbers here at the Dogra Chowk with banners and placards displaying slogans against issues like terrorism, soft policies of the Congress led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) at the centre and state, rising prices of essential commodities, corruption, unemployment, power and water crises.
The activists, led by BJYM state president Yudhvir Sethi, formed a human chain from Dogra Chowk to Mubarak Mandi amid tight security.
Morcha's vice president Mukesh Sharma, Surinder Singh, Mrs Purnima and other office bearers of the wing also participated in the agitation.
Today's protest was a part of nationwide programme of BJYM to mobilise public opinion against the above issues.
