Bihar Governor terms Nitish 'Vikas Purush'

New Delhi, July 6 (UNI) Bihar Governor R S Gavai has praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his efforts to develop the state.

Terming Mr Kumar as 'Vikas Purush', the Governor said he was doing good work.

He has got special interest in the development work and the law and order situation has improved during his tenure in the state, he said.

The markets now remain open till 2200 hrs at night and people could move freely, the Governor said.

Mr Gavai also assured Mr Kumar of all possible help in the developmental work saying no politics would be allowed to hamper the work.

Offering rich tributes to Jagjivan Ram on his birth anniversary, the Governor said that he would visit the Bihar leader's birth place Chandwa in Arah district after returning to the state tomorrow.
